Description
The eclectic mix of American and English music found on this recording recreates some of the sounds encountered in Saint Thomas Church, were one to step inside in the enchanted seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany. It begins with the sense of Advent expectation, succeeded by the Christmas joy, and then the hope of mankind which pervades the message of Epiphany. This collection of music mixes the familiar and unfamiliar; carols which speak so indelibly of the season, alongside some perhaps lesser known music. The album was recorded in Saint Thomas Church in May of 2022.
