Lloyd Gregory Stanford made Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue his spiritual home in 1992. Since 2005, Lloyd has served as a high altar acolyte, chalice bearer, lay subdeacon and bishop’s chaplain. First elected to the Vestry in 2014 and Warden in 2021, Lloyd serves as a member of the Standing Committee, the Building Committee, the Finance and Budget Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Personnel Committee. He served as chair of the 2022 Vestry Nominating Committee. Lloyd also serves on the board of directors of Project Guardianship and is a member of that organization’s Finance and Audit Committee.
Lloyd served for many years as CEO of a large academic medical and surgical practice. He recently founded a healthcare company that provides physician and surgical practices with advisory and consultancy services. Lloyd earned an MBA and certification as a medical practice executive (CMPE). His expertise is in leadership, building a successful organizational and operational culture, Lean Six Sigma, and employing effective strategies to manage human capital. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Leaders of New York, the Medical Group Management Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem.
Lloyd and his wife Andrea were married at Saint Thomas Church in a ceremony officiated by the Reverend Canon Carl F. Turner and attended by many members of the Saint Thomas Church family. Andrea is a Foreign Service Officer and member of the United States diplomatic corps. She has served on the Saint Thomas Annual Appeal Committee.
The couple enjoys extensive travel around the globe and reside in New Jersey.
