Christopher M. Haley, Clerk


Chris Haley has been a parishioner of Saint Thomas Church since 2015, and serves on the Grant Study Committee. He is also Director of the Altar Guild, a delegate to Diocesan Convention, and is Vice Chair of the Choir School Board of Trustees. Chris chaired the Institutional Advancement Task Force and the search for a Chief Advancement Officer and served on the Strategic Planning Working Group. He is passionate about implementing our strategic plan to ensure the continued vitality of Saint Thomas for the next century.

Chris is a psychotherapist practicing in New York City. Prior to becoming a therapist, he was a leader in the nonprofit sector for over two decades, serving numerous organizations and causes, including independent schools, higher education, social services, and substance abuse treatment.

He is a member of the Fellowship of Saint John and has volunteered for a number of Episcopal causes, including the National Episcopal AIDS Coalition, where he served as Chair of the Board, and Episcopal Relief & Development, for which he served as the diocesan representative for the Diocese of Minnesota.

Originally from Tennessee, Chris was confirmed at Christ Church Cathedral in Nashville and holds an MSSW degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He and his husband live on the Upper East Side.
