The Last Sunday after Pentecost: Christ the King
The Last Sunday after Pentecost: Christ the King
Almighty and everlasting God, whose will it is to restore all things in thy well-beloved Son, the King of kings and Lord of lords: Mercifully grant that the peoples of the earth, divided and enslaved by sin, may be freed and brought together under his most gracious rule; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. (Proper 29)

A new venture for youngish adults (20s through 40s), Theology on Tap will meet at a pub near the church following Choral Evensong on Sunday, November 21, and about once every four to six weeks down the road. Father Austin will lead an informal discussion, based on that evening’s sermon, at a sort-of-round table. You are invited, and you are especially invited to bring a friend.
Evensong is from 4 to 5 p.m.; we will be at the pub by 5:30 until no later than 7 p.m. The pub does not expect us to have a ‚Äúminimum tab,‚Äù and so while you can order food they won’t mind if you only order something to drink. Because we have to make reservations, please contact Fr Austin if you will be attending.
