The Fourteenth Sunday After Pentecost

The Fourteenth Sunday After Pentecost

Lord of all power and might, who art the author and giver of all good things: Graft in our hearts the love of thy Name; increase in us true religion; nourish us with all goodness; and bring forth in us the fruit of good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Proper 17)

Parishioner Dr Robert Duvall and Father Austin will explore the poetry and the theology of Christian Wiman’s spiritual memoir of his return to, and discovery of, Christian faith. Participants will not be expected to have read the book, but it will be available in our bookstore. The class meets for five consecutive Sundays, August 4 through September 1.
