Most parishioners have the opportunity to see parts of the chancel and the sanctuary only when they go up to the altar rail to receive Holy Communion. This is your opportunity to explore their glorious details up close (especially the intricate woodwork), and more importantly to understand the ways in which some of these details reflect their liturgical functions.

Meet in the front pews of the church after the Mass which follows Choral Evensong. Most of this class takes place in the chancel itself, with opportunities to sit in the choir stalls as desired.
