Today, after a brief introduction, Fr. Mark Brown will lead a recitation of the Rosary meditating on the Sorrowful Mysteries. If you would like more information on how to participate you can email Fr. Brown.

Throughout its history the Church has commended the use of many forms of prayer to those who seek a deeper relationship with God. One of these prayer methods given to us by the tradition of the Church is the Holy Rosary.

In the Rosary, we pray our way through the New Testament lives of Jesus and his mother Mary. We contemplate twenty moments in the New Testament story grouped into four sets of “mysteries.” As we pray the prayers of the rosary, we meditate on these mysteries.

More information about the Rosary is available online.
