Last night Tom Bair performed the full text of the Gospel of Saint Mark. The compelling immediacy and directness of Mark’s narrative was brought to life by hearing the gospel in one sitting, in the same manner as the earliest followers of Jesus. The Episcopal Journal calls this performance “a riveting journey” and “a brilliant and inspirational experience.” This morning Mr. Bair leads a seminar exploring the overall effect of the gospel by examining its narrative structure and literary forms.
