The Twenty-Fifth Sunday After Pentecost
The Twenty-Fifth Sunday After Pentecost
Blessed Lord, who hast caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant that we may in such wise hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that, by patience and comfort of thy holy Word, we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which thou hast given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Proper 28)

This Solemn Requiem, one of the many jewels in the liturgical crown of our worship life at Saint Thomas, begins and ends in silence. In between, glorious music, full of yearning and hope (this year set to the Messe de Requiem of Maurice Duruflé) fills the church and our hearts as we remember all those who have gone before us. Complete details of the service, including the texts of the music selections, may be seen in the leaflet posted to the bottom of this page, where you will also find a link to the webcast during and after the service.
