Tuesday In Holy Week

Tuesday In Holy Week

O God, by the passion of thy blessed Son didst make an instrument of shameful death to be unto us the means of life: Grant us so to glory in the cross of Christ, that we may gladly suffer shame and loss for the sake of thy Son our Savior Jesus Christ; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Service Details
This relatively austere Eucharist will be familiar to those who attend the 9am Eucharist on Sunday mornings. Its tone is reflective and penitential. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, please come in, as the liturgy will help you enter a frame a mind for what is to come later in the week.

The service involves three sacred ministers and the Gentlemen of the Choir. All baptized Christians are invited to the altar rail to receive the Sacrament. The leaflet, with additional details, becomes available on the bottom of this page a few days prior to the service.

This 12:10 Mass is followed by a short, said healing service of Holy Unction for those who woud like to stay on.
