Almighty God, whose blessed apostles Peter and Paul glorified thee by their martyrdom: Grant that thy Church, instructed by their teaching and example, and knit together in unity by thy Spirit, may ever stand firm upon the one foundation, which is Jesus Christ our Lord; who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. At noon on Mondays through Saturdays we offer audio webcasts of Shrine Prayers at Our Lady of Fifth Avenue prior to a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Chantry Chapel. We invite you to join us in worship by making an act of spiritual communion, sending us a prayer request, or by purchasing a candle to be lit at the shrine.

My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things,
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
