The 2022 Spring Theology Lecture was given by Fr. Patrick Cheng, our Theologian in Residence. Fr. Cheng’s lecture focused on ecclesiology, or the doctrine of the church, and its particular manifestation in the Anglican and Episcopal context. Among other things, Fr. Cheng discussed the principle of conciliarism and the polity of The Episcopal Church as expressed in its upcoming 80th General Convention, held in Baltimore in July, 2022.
