Father in heaven, by whose grace the virgin mother of thy incarnate Son was blessed in bearing him, but still more blessed in keeping thy word: Grant us who honor the exaltation of her lowliness to follow the example of her devotion to thy will; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Today’s livestreamed service of the Holy Eucharist is offered in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

At noon on Mondays through Saturdays we offer audio webcasts of Shrine Prayers at Our Lady of Fifth Avenue prior to a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Chantry Chapel. We invite you to join us in worship by making an act of spiritual communion, sending us a prayer request, or by purchasing a candle to be lit at the shrine.

My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things,
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you.
Amen.
