Saint Peter and Saint Paul

Saint Peter and Saint Paul

Almighty God, whose blessed apostles Peter and Paul glorified thee by their martyrdom: Grant that thy Church, instructed by their teaching and example, and knit together in unity by thy Spirit, may ever stand firm upon the one foundation, which is Jesus Christ our Lord; who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Please join us in the Parish House Living Room and Dining Room for coffee, tea and cookies following the Eucharist. Meet parishioners and, if you are a guest, please sign our guest book or complete a welcome card. Nametags are available.

Today is Fr Mead’s last Sunday as XII Rector of Saint Thomas, and coffee hour is an excellent time to say goodbye to the Meads. Also, please go up to Andrew Hall during coffee hour for these two special reasons:

Book Sale

Due the Meads’ move from the rectory to their retirement house, some of the Meads’ books are on offer in Andrew Hall at a near giveaway. Many are cherished books, but there is no room in Narragansett for them! All hardbacks, including big coffee-table books, go for one dollar. All paperbacks go for 25 cents. Come one, come all. The proceeds go to the organ fund.

Photo Exhibit

Over this past year, Ira Lippke, a parishioner and professional photographer, has focused his camera on the Church and Choir School, beginning a multi-year project to create lasting art by uncovering and documenting some of the personalities and stories which populate our diverse parish. The first exhibition of this project can be viewed today in Andrew Hall. Fine art prints may be ordered using the form at the bottom of this page; proceeds benefit the restoration of the stained glass windows.
