The Third Sunday Of Advent (Gaudete)

The Third Sunday Of Advent (Gaudete)

Stir up thy power, O Lord, and with great might come among us; and, because we are sorely hindered by our sins, let thy bountiful grace and mercy speedily help and deliver us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom, with thee and the Holy Ghost, be honor and glory, world without end. Amen.

1:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m.

Written by Lucky Gold, this year’s pageant is called “A New York Carol.” In the days when Saint Thomas Church was still downtown, Charles Dickens paid a visit to New York City. And maybe, just maybe, he was inspired by dirty faced urchins and thieves to write a Christmas story for the ages. Don’t worry – the angles, lambs and donkey will be there, too.

If you have a child who would like to particpate in this year’s Christmas Pageant, please contact Fr Erdman.
