The Annunciation
We beseech thee, O Lord, pour thy grace into our hearts, that we who have known the incarnation of thy Son Jesus Christ, announced by an angel to the Virgin Mary, may by his cross and passion be brought unto the glory of his resurrection; who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Join Fr Schultz at 6pm Friday evenings in the Living Room after Compline for book study focusing on the Very Reverend Andrew McGowan’s book “The Seven Last Words”. Dean McGowan tantalizing invites us to consider Christ’s work on the cross as a work of creativity as much as a work of salvation, writing: “Each of Jesus’s seven words from the cross can be understood as a creative act, as a new divine work.” In addition to meditating on the seven last words, the Dean considers the words of other figures that feature in the Passion narrative and stand in dialogue with Christ’s words, expanding our view and deepening our contemplation of the passion. Join us!
