Almighty God, who didst give such grace to thine apostle Andrew that he readily obeyed the call of thy Son Jesus Christ, and brought his brother with him: Give unto us, who are called by thy Word, grace to follow him without delay, and to bring those near to us into his gracious presence; who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. If we take a positive view of something Saint Jerome said a long time ago, we might say, familiarity with scripture helps us to become more familiar with Jesus. To that end, each Friday we offer a straight-forward Bible study. This study will meet in the living room of the parish house at 12:45pm, will last one hour, and is open to anyone who is interested. Bring your Bible, and a desire to know our Lord better.
