Almighty God, who on this day didst open the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of thy Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the same Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

At the beginning of the Procession, the Rector goes to the Canterbury Stone on the Chancel and reads the Opening Prayer. The choir then sings the Processional as the Choir and Clergy process to the Chantry.
After the reading from Genesis, the Anthem and the Collect, the procession moves to the Narthex, where the Second Lesson is read.
After the singing of a hymn and the chanting of a Collect, the Procession moves up the center aisle, stopping short of entering the Chancel. The Rector reads from Acts and a Motet is sung. Another Collect is chanted and the Procession moves into the Chancel, where the Fourth Lesson is read from the lectern.
The Congregation then sings a hymn and Father Austin gives the Greetings and a Homily. Another Anthem follows and then the Rector gives the Blessing. All sing a final hymn as the procession exits through the nave.
