O God, who cause the minds of the faithful to unite in a single purpose, grant your people to love what you command and to desire what you promise, that, amid the uncertainties of this world, our hearts may be fixed on that place where true gladness is found. At noon on Mondays through Saturdays we offer audio webcasts of Shrine Prayers at Our Lady of Fifth Avenue prior to a celebration of the Holy Eucharist in the Chantry Chapel. We invite you to join us in worship by making an act of spiritual communion, sending us a prayer request, or by purchasing a candle to be lit at the shrine.
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things,
and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you.
