The Twenty-First Sunday After Pentecost

Almighty and everlasting God, who in Christ hast revealed thy glory among the nations: Preserve the works of thy mercy, that thy Church throughout the world may persevere with steadfast faith in the confession of thy Name; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Holy Eucharist
8:00 a.m.

This 30 minute service in the Chantry Chapel includes lessons, prayers, a sermon and a Said Mass.

Sung Eucharist
9:00 a.m.

This 45 minute service at the High Altar includes lessons, prayers, hymns, a sermon, and a Sung Eucharist. Music is sung by the younger choristers and probationers of the choir. Please see the leaflet below for the order of worship.

Coffee Hour following the 9am Service
9:45 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Join us for coffee, tea and cookies in the Parish House Living Room and Dining Room following the 9am Eucharist.

Adult Education: The First Book of the Kings
10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.

Father Austin will give short talks on this rich text (perhaps unexpectedly so) which contains much material for Christian reflection.

Sunday School

Choral Mattins & Choral Eucharist

The 11am Eucharist is typically the best-attended worship service at Saint Thomas each week. It is at this service that you not only will experience the full power of liturgy, music and preaching at Saint Thomas, but also will have the opportunity to meet many parishioners in the pews. Please join us in the Parish House Living Room and Dining Room for coffee, tea and cookies following the Eucharist. Meet parishioners and, if you are a guest, please sign our guest book. Nametags are available.

Sing for the Windows
1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.

Even if you think you cannot sing, you can be in tune with others. Parishioner Nancy Garniez has been teaching this sight-singing skill for over 30 years, and now offers it to the congregation. The group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, starting October 3 from 1 to 2 p.m....
